Considerations into the Practical Nursing program are based upon the following:
- Student must take the TEAS exam and meet the cut scores of:
- Reading - 60%
- Math – 50%
- Science – 40%
- English – 50%
* Cumulative Scores will be reviewed by the program director and will be considered on an individual basis.
- Interview with the Practical Nursing Program Director and Clinical Coordinator/Instructor.
- Essay (one page double spaced). Why you have chosen to be a practical nurse; and why you chose WVJC. Please sign and date your essay.
- 2 References (educational, spiritual, or current/former employer). Please submit on business letterhead and/or include name, phone number, or email address.
